Life Reflections

*In the morning when I rise*

Willie Thomas Davis, lovingly addressed as Tom, Pop Pop, Brother, and Uncle, was born on February 11, 1949, to Mrs. Alberta Morris (Davis) and Mr. James Davis. 

He was preceded in death by Mrs. Alberta Baker (Mother), Lawrence Henry Baker (Stepfather), Joan Hammond (Sister), Ronald Coleman (Brother-in-Law), and Kenneth Johnson (Brother-in-Law).

 *His Wife*

He leaves to cherish a loving, beautiful, and supportive wife by the name of Stephanie Davis. They were united in matrimony for over twenty-eight years. Willie affectionately called her, “Booba”.

*May the works I’ve done speak for me*

He received Jesus Christ in his life at an early age at Allen Chapel AME in Williston, FL, under the pastoral leadership of the late Rev. C. J. Morris (Grandfather) and Missy. Willie Mae Morris (Grandmother). He later became a member of Overcoming Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Mother Alberta Morris-Baker. He received his education at Williston Vocational School. He later became a Licensed Practical Nurse in New Jersey. Tom practiced these skills with love and gentleness for over 40 years. We know him as “The Family Physician”. Quartet music, sports, cruises, and spending time with his family were his passions.
