Mrs. Verda Mae Roberts Johnson

1930 “Lit Bit” 2025

 

Mrs. Verda was born on February 8th, 1930, in Williston, Florida to her loving parents Mr. Leroy “Butcher” Roberts and Mrs. Sandra Silla Watson Monroe. 

At a young age Mrs. Verda Mae “Lit Bit” gave her life to Christ. Her favorite pass time was reading the bible and learning the word of God. She was devoted and a loving mother and grandmother. 

 

Later in life she moved to Fort Myers, Florida for many years. Mrs. Verda moved with her devoted daughter Patricia in Auburn, Alabama until June 5, 2018, then moved into Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chipley, Florida where she remain until she was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 5th, 2025.

 

Mrs. Verda is preceded in death by her parents, a loving son: James “Rick” Johnson, and a brother: Charlie Roberts.


Mrs. Verda Leaves To Cherish Her Loving Memories…

Two daughters: Pastor Patricia Carter of Auburn, Alabama, and Alice J.(Johnny) Bellamy of Williston, Florida; Two sons: Alfred Hammond of Montgomery, Alabama, and John Hammond of Ocala, Florida; One brother: Pastor Leavy Robinson a.k.a “Leroy Roberts Jr.” of Porter, Texas and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
