Shadie Joseph Mcgee

Shadie Joseph McGee, Jr., 78, gracefully slipped away to be with the Lord in the evening of Wednesday, March 9, 2022.  Shadie was born November 2, 1943, to the late Shadie Joseph McGee, Sr, and Irene White in Polk County, Florida.  He was predeceased in death by his grandmother, Viola McClary (Miss Sister).  Shadie attended Booker T. Washington High School and later joined the United States Army.

Shadie Joseph McGee, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory:  wife Willie Mae McGee of Inverness,  Children:   Shellene Grimes (Keith) of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Juan McGee (Maria) of Williamsburg, Virginia; 13 step children; 7 beloved grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of  sorrowing friends,
