Sammie Lee Riley

Rev. Sammie Lee Riley was the second of twelve born to Charlie & Lola Riley on November 30th, 1939, in Bell Fl. Sammie Lee Riley passed away on Friday, February 4th, 2022, at North Florida Regional Medical Center a little after 8:00 PM.

Rev. Sammie Lee Riley graduated from Fremont adult school of Los Angeles California,  he furthered his education at Los Angeles southwest college, then moved onto Los Angeles Bibles Training College, Then to Casey College and Grace Bible College, Where He earned a Master Degree in Theology, Rev. Sammie Lee Riley United with Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church where he served until he organized Temple of Hope Baptist Church. Rev. Sammie Lee Riley organized Temple of Hope Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California where he pastored for 9 years. He was called to Beacon Light Baptist Church where he pastored 10 years. Rev. Sammie Lee Riley was employed at continental Baking (Hostess &Wonder Bread) for 31 years.

Rev. Sammie Lee Riley will be preceded in death by his parents Charlie & Lola Riley, 2 brothers Alexander Riley, Willard Riley, 2 sisters Jessie Riley White, Floretha Riley, and a Sons Donald Daily and Daniel Riley. Rev. He Leaves to Cherish His Loving Wife of 44 years Ruby Riley, His Sons Manuel Riley (Chiefland FL), Gary Arterberry (Los Angeles CA), Marcus Arterberry (Rutha) Phoenix, AZ., Maurice Arterberry (Barbara) Los Angeles, CA, Son in the ministry Rev.Lamont Hayes, Los Angeles, CA, and Godson Hiram White (Red Man) Chiefland Fl. Daughters Lola Riley Gainesville Fl, Shakeida Glover (Terrell) Chiefland, Justina Riley Mckinley (George) Tampa FL, and Brigget Riley (Tampa FL),
