Rayymond White Jr. was born on March 4, 1930, in Romeo, Florida, to the late Raymond White Sr. and Almeta Edwards.
He attended schools within the Levy County School System.
He later joined the United States Army and served his country honorably. After his military service, he held various jobs throughout the community. He was a skilled self-employed mechanic and was also employed by Whitehurst Construction.
Raymond was a faithful member of Jones Temple COGIC in Williston, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his son Raymond White, Sr., and his brothers: Lonnie Edwards, Sidney Edwards, and Joe Louis Edwards .
Raymond was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to help others. He touched many lives throughout his journey and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving and devoted daughter, Dr. Debra White of Davie, Florida; four sons, James White of Gainesville, Florida, Ricky White, Eric White of Ocala, Florida, and Tyrall Pitts (spouse, Qiana) of Jacksonville, Florida; his sister, Ernestine Nichols (spouse, Charlie) of Williston, Florida; his dedicated niece, Alicia Colyer of Williston, Florida; 18 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends; and a devoted friend, Mr. Randall “Pop” Morrison.
