Minister Willice "Willis" Edwards

CELEBRATING THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF MINISTER WILLIS EDWARDS

Minister Willis Edwards was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and faithful servant of God. He was a man of deep faith who dedicated his life to his family, his church, and the service of others.

Minister Edwards was born on November 09, 1943, in Lake Butler, Union County, Florida. Throughout his life, he remained devoted to God and to the people he loved. His faith guided him through life's journey, and his love and commitment to his family were evident in all that he did.

Minister Edwards was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Edwards, Sr. and Donnie Edwards; his beloved wife, Georgia Mae Edwards; and his brothers, Zura Edwards, Woodrow Edwards, Russell Edwards, Jr., and Timothy Edwards.

In his later years, Minister Edwards earned his CDL license and began a career with Pritchett Trucking as a professional truck driver. He took great pride in his work and approached his profession with dedication, commitment, and a strong work ethic.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Woodrow Willis Edwards, along with his wife, Veronica Edwards, of Fort White, Florida, and Gregory Levell Edwards Sr., along with his wife, Catrina Edwards, of Lake Butler, Florida; his brother, Pastor Mack Edwards, along with his wife, Mary Edwards, of Gainesville, Florida; and his adopted daughter, LaBrina Hadley of Jacksonville, Florida. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Minister Edwards' life was a living testimony of the goodness of God. His faith, love, wisdom, kindness, and dedication touched the lives of many. He was a faithful servant whose presence brought strength and love to his family, his church, and his community.

Though his earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy will continue through the generations. The lessons he taught, the love he shared, the faith he demonstrated, and the lives he touched will remain a lasting part of his family's story.
