A Time to Live

Maggie Mae Hinds was born November 12, 1942, in Madison Florida. Ms. Hinds was educated in the Levy County school system. She worked as CNA at Oakview Rehabilitation Center for many years. She retired from the Levy County school board after 30 years custodial service at Williston High School. Her retirement was filled with shopping, traveling and the joys of spending time with her family.

 

A Time to Die

Maggie‘s earthly journey was completed on July 18, 2024, as she took her rest with family at her side.

 Maggie was proceeded in death by Arthur Lee James (father), Nelly Mae James (mother), Lucy Mae Hall (sister), and her beloved Treaver Hinds (son).

 

A Time to Cherish Life and Memories

Maggie leaves her Legacy:

Victor Hinds (Lashawn), Archer, Florida, and Darfeness Hinds, Williston, Florida.

LaQuintana McGollie (Glenn), Valdosta, Georgia, Victeashianna McCray, Gainesville, Florida, Daniel Joiner, Williston, Florida, Airika Hinds Gainesville, Florida, Arianna Hinds Pembroke Pines, Florida, Ahleaya Coombs Gainesville, Florida, Lavontre Coleman, Williston, Florida, Treasure Hinds, Tallahassee, Florida, Vivian Hinds, Archer, Florida and 17 great grandchildren.

Siblings: 

Brothers: Pastor Frank James, (Linda) and Wendell James (Shenita), both of Williston, Florida. Sister: Essie Mae McQuay, and Madison, Florida

Nieces: Vickie Lewis (Rico)Tampa, Florida, Deidre Jonson, (Michael), Ocala, Florida, Talesia Woodard (Patrick), Williston, Florida, Melissa Hall, and Tyressa Hall, Gainesville, Florida. 

 Nephews:

 Bruce Nichols (Tracie), Williston, Florida, Shelton Hall (Michaela) Gainesville, Florida, Kenneth McQuay (Sharon), Charlotte, North Carolina, Kevin McQuay (Evangela), Fort Valley, Georgia, Michael McQuay (Darlene), Live Oak, Florida, and a host of family and friends.
