Luretta Robinson, a beloved member of our community, passed away on August 7, 2025, after a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

Born on September 23, 1955, to Leroy Robinson Jr. and Rosa Robinson, Luretta received her elementary and high school education at Newberry High School.

An early convert to Christianity, Luretta dedicated her life to St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as an active member of the Sanctuary, Choir, Culinary Committee, and Youth Department for many years.

She preceded in death by her father, Leroy Robinson Jr., and her brothers, Larry and Jackie Robinson, Luretta leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. Her mother, Rosa Robinson, cherishes her memories, as do her two sons, Aaron Rollins Jr. and Michael Brown, and four sisters, Emma (James) Dennis of Archer, Bertha (Bruce) Williams of Archer, Katie Robinson of Archer, and Dina (Kevin) Monroe of Jacksonville.

Her special nephew, Danton Williams, and nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowful friends will also mourn her loss.
