Mr. Leslie J. Smith, Jr. was born on August 09, 1942, in Williston, Florida, to his loving parents, the late Sarah Lilly Smith and Leslie Jeffery Smith, Sr.

Mr. Leslie graduated from high school and served in the United States Army.

On August 27, 2026, he departed this earthly life to be with the Lord.

Mr. Leslie was known to be very funny and could make anyone laugh, a master bricklayer and gardener. He loved fishing, fellowshipping with his close friends, and spending time with his loved ones.

Mr. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah Lilly Smith and Leslie Jeffery Smith, Sr., and by four siblings: Martha Smith, Dan Smith, James Bernard Thomas, and Edward Lee Smith.

He leaves cherished memories in the hearts of his wife Barbara Jean Smith,. nine children: Nikki Smith (Junette), Glennous Smith, Dedric Smith, Jeffery Smith, Twyla Smtih, Lillian Smith, Juliean Smith, Bryan Smith (Renee), and Sarah Sokeye (Oluwafemi); his stepson, Eddie Wesley (LaKenya); twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Johnny Smith (Mandella), John Smith (Robin), David Smith (Lunis), and Cameron Smith; and three sisters, Lou Bertha Powell, Jacqueline McSwain (Hoyal), and Sheila Floyd. He will also be fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
