A TIME TO BE BORN
Frankie D'Yata Adams was born on December 8, 1976, a beautiful, bright-eyed, spirited baby girl with a personality and spark all her own. She was a precious gift to her loving parents, Alverial Sims Curtis and Frank Adams, whom she now joins in eternal rest.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Sarah and Albert Smith, O'Lester Sims, Marie and Edward Johnson, her aunt, Gloria Jean Robinson, and her brother, Kelvin Nelson.
FRANKIE'S LIFE STORY
Frankie "Lala" White was a woman whose presence could light up a room and whose heart made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. A proud graduate of Edison High School in Miami, Florida, Class of 1995, Frankie was a true force both on and off the basketball court.
Her love for life was evident in everything she did. She had a genuine passion for helping others, and she had a special way of making people smile while doing it. Frankie was known for her beautiful spirit, her infectious personality, her love of cooking, and her impressive sneaker collection, which was truly something to admire. If Frankie knew you and happened to see you out in public, you could count on one thing: she was going to make her way over to you. Whether it was a quick conversation, a funny comment, or simply a few words to brighten your day, she made it her business to acknowledge you and leave you smiling. That was just Lala being Lala!
Frankie's professional journey reflected her heart for service. She spent several years working for the State of Florida, beginning with the Department of Children and Families and later serving as a Corrections Officer. Eventually, she felt called to pursue a different path, one that would allow her to make a more personal difference in the lives of others.
She transitioned into companion care, working with individuals with disabilities, and quickly discovered a passion that would become so much more than a job. With time, dedication, and a heart full of compassion, Frankie established her own business, Heavenly Hearts LLC. Through her business, she continued providing the same loving, dependable, and compassionate care that had become her trademark. For the last six years of her life, Frankie devoted herself to caring for the elderly and individuals with disabilities. Her work was more than a profession; it was an extension of who she was. She poured her heart into caring for others, making sure they felt valued, respected, and loved. Even in her final act of kindness, Frankie continued to demonstrate the selflessness that defined her life.
Having registered as an organ donor, she made the beautiful decision to give others the gift of life. Her willingness to help someone else live on is perhaps one of the greatest reflections of her generous heart. Frankie lived a life of purpose, laughter, love, and service. Though her earthly journey has ended, the lives she touched, the smiles she created, and the love she shared will forever remain. Frankie lived a life of purpose, laughter, love, and service. A TIME TO WORSHIP
Frankie was born and raised in the Church of God by Faith in Miami, Florida, under the spiritual leadership and teachings of Elder Artie B. Smith and Mother Becky Mae Smith. Her faith was an important part of her foundation, and during her time there, she was actively involved in the Singing Angels and the Youth Choir.
As her journey continued, Frankie remained connected to her faith and her love for ministry. The last church she attended was Greater Love & Faith in Gainesville, Florida, where she faithfully served as the musician and, at one time, as the Youth Department Overseer. Through her gifts, her service, and her dedication, Frankie shared her love for God and used her talents to be a blessing to others. Her life was a reflection of the importance of faith, fellowship, and serving with a willing heart.
