Evangelist Mamie Lee Patterson

1924 - EVANGELIST MAMIE LEE PATTERSON - 2026

THE BEGINNING

Evang. Mamie Lee Patterson was born September 07, 1924, to the late William C. Wilcox and Rochelle Clark Wilcox in Chiefland, Florida.

THE JOURNEY

Evang. Patterson was converted and baptized at an early age, beginning a lifelong journey of serving the Lord through ministry and prayer. She shared a rich spiritual legacy with Bishop Hemingway, Mother Baker, and Evangelist Robert and Rutha Scott, laboring faithfully alongside them to win souls for Christ and lead men and women into the house of the Lord from Orlando, Chiefland, Jacksonville, and other cities.

Evang. Patterson was a pillar of the family and a powerful prayer warrior; she followed the Lord’s guidance, visiting relatives’ homes to pray, lay hands, and anoint with oil. Those who were sick found healing, and those in need of deliverance or restoration experienced a renewed spirit in their homes. Her visits often lasted not just one night, but weeks or even months. She served the Lord with gladness and with her whole heart.

THE REST

Evang. Patterson’s life was a godly life of values. In the year 2020, after her health began to fail. She came to live with her brother, the late Dr. Rev. Joseph Lee Wilcox, Sr., from Jacksonville, Florida, from a family who loved and cared for her dearly. After spending time there, she rested at her niece Betty J. Buie home. Mamie’s smile and warm spirit touched the hearts of everyone in her presence. She cherished time with her family and showed them boundless love. She would do anything for family, friends, or anyone in need. At age 102, Mamie strolled onto “Glory Lane” and found rest at “My Mansion in Heaven Avenue” on October 07, 2026.
