Dwayne was born on December 25, 1960, to John L. Robinson and Christine Gross in Williston, Florida.

A TIME TO BE EMPLOYED:

Dwayne worked at Winter Quarter Farms for more than 30 years until his health began to decline. Special thanks are extended to Maureen Miller and Gloria Sapp, who accepted and considered Dwayne a part of their family.

A TIME TO REST:

On July 13, 2026, Dwayne was called to eternal rest and everlasting life.

Two Children: Dwayne Gross, Jr., and Dironada (Brian) Strange, “affectionately known to him as Scoota Scoot and Lovey”. (Dwayne’s love for his children was immeasurable; they were his heart.); Two Special Daughters: Jillian Monroe and Jessica Monroe; Three Siblings: Kathy Robinson, Demetrius (Erika) Robinson, and Evang. Phyllis Stephens (Kenneth); One Brother-in-Law: Calvin Gray; Eight Grandchildren: Caleb, Taliyah, Makiya, Janiyah, Jacoby, Jamari, Ja’Layah, and Jaelle; Bonus Mother: Mother Gloria J. Robinson; Aunts: Jackie Elijah Brown, Fannie Howard, Juanita McNeil, and Henrietta Robinson. Dwayne also leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, along with his Special Friend: Annie Monroe.

Dwayne was reunited with his Parents, John L. Robinson and Christine Gross; Two Siblings: Audrey Robinson and Erika Gray; Three Aunts: Imogene Robinson, Charles Taylor, and Sandra (Uncle Freddie) Monroe; Four Uncles: Rev. Eddie Robinson, Herbert Robinson, Charles Taylor, and K.E. McNeil; also, One Brother-in-law: Anthony Collins.
