Breanna Lashonda Washington (January 15, 1994 – March 29, 2022)
On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Breanna Lashonda Washington, loving daughter, precious niece, friend to all, and dog lover, and after a courageous battle for her life, she was granted her angel wings at the age of 28.
Breanna was born on January 15, 1994, in St. Petersburg, FL to Jonathan and Tonjia (Bunch) Washington. She received her Paramedics Certification and Culinary Arts Degree from St. Pete College in 2018. She was dog mom to Chino, Honey, Blue, and Red.
Breanna had a passion for people, video games, and animals. She also loved to cook, which comes by heritage of our family and five generations of cooks, which she turned into her profession. Breanna never met a stranger; she loved everyone she met, and her smile brightened any room.
Breanna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Helen Bunch, Annie M. McCray, Charles and Theola (Bunch) McCray, Elijah and Gustavo (Clark) Washington, and aunts and uncles, Joyce Ford, James Bunch, Glenn Bunch, Donnette Bunch, and Jerome Bunch. Breanna is survived by her parents, Jonathan and Tonjia Washington, her brothers, Jonathan “Pete’ Washington, Jr., Jonathan “Jon Jon” Washington, and Elijah Washington, her paternal aunts and uncles, Yolanda York, Amos Washington, Clarence Washington, Suzette Washington, and Denise Washington, her maternal aunts and uncles, Andrea K. McCray, Charles McCray II, Ann McCray, Rachel McCray, Josh McCray, and Dwann McCray, great aunts and uncles, Henry Ford, William and Pamela Bunch, Sheila and Ricky Snow, Betty Bunch, Angela Bunch Clark, and Harold and Kimberly Brown, special friend, Chelsea Cooper, and a host of cousins and friends.
