Arthaga Simpson was born in Wilcox, Florida to the late Ruby Lee Singleton on September 4, 1939.

 

Married Life: 

She was married to the late Willie L. Simpson. 

 

Church Membership:

 She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Old Town, Florida. 

 

Employment: 

Her passion was making biscuits, which she did for 30 years for Hardee’s in Old Town, Florida and Cross City, Florida. 

 

Sunset: 

Arthaga left her earthly home on March 13, 2024, at the Williston Care Center surrounded by her son, Troy and daughter-in-law Angela in Williston, Florida. 

 

Memories: 

Mrs. Arthaga Simpson leaves to cherish her precious memories her children: Darrow(Christine) Jones, Farmington, NY; Troy(Angela) Sprawling, Chiefland, Florida; Michael(Tammy) Sprawling, Old Town, Florida; Barbara Jones, and Cynthia Jones, both of Rochester, NY; 16 Grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren; A devoted cousin: Willmateen Smith; Devoted friends: Donna Boyette and Marsena White; as well a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends. 

 

 Siblings who preceded her in death: Edward, Rahn, Nancy, and Marie.
